The snow Monday came down slowly and big flakes. It was a nice early morning walk!
Nola was still getting over her sickness so was in slug mode most of the week.
A Brenner sighting.
I was reading an article about the pros/cons of outdoor warning sirens and had to scratch my head about Mr. Brian Cates' quote. Wouldn't want him as a stepdad. Extra funny in that this business is in Matt's hometown.
With the cold temps and a hurt paw, Baylee was missing her lunchtime walks with me.
My last day in the home office was Friday. No Elon, your tactics to scare me won't work because I serve someone with real power.
Baylee was sad on Friday as she waited for our last lunchtime walk. But we had a good one despite the 18 degrees marking the temperature gage!
Grandma Val gave us a surprise visit Friday afternoon. We shared some laughs and dinner before she headed back home!
I asked Matt to help me move the desk in my new office on Saturday while Nola was at basketball. I took in a few things. Not putting too much effort into getting comfortable as things seem to change daily.
Nola didn't puke at practice! I was a bit worried about her since she had been so sick but she did well.
New office.....I did talk sense into someone so that I didn't get put in the poop closet within the building with no other people. Inside office, no windows but guess what - I have no say! It was kind of a surprise what furniture was there for me to use - that was an unknown until late Friday. I was able to order some fluorescent light covers so that I can hopefully stave off migraines.
We had a nice sushi lunch after basketball at Nola's request.
Nola went back into slug mode Saturday afternoon.
Nola did play around with some new nails and borrowed Grandma Val's super tiny curling iron. Her hair always looks so pretty!
Pretty sunrise on Sunday.
Nola participating in Youth Sunday at our church. They did both services. Nola's part was to do the By These Signs witness with a focus on last year's youth mission trip. Nola did great!
