Trying new things

BHP has had a busy week - he stayed in the nursery at church without his parents and with some neighbors for a few hours. Big deal for his parents as he has only stayed thus far with family or close friends - we know - he is almost nine months old! BHP has also started biting again - no fun for anyone involved :) Brenner has also started waving at people - pretty funny. Cousin Krystee and Cousin Colten have been helping Grandma Val babysit - could it be because our neighbors have a new pool? Actually they are great help and Grandma Val enjoys seeing more of all of her grandkids. Grandma Judi was nice enough to babysit Brenner on Friday so that we could have a date day - guess where we ended up - Babies R Us! Oh our small but wonderful world these days! Brenner is one happy boy - stomping and kicking - always on the move. What will it be like once he can walk.......

BHP is enjoying the summer fruits - plums, peaches, and watermelon. The look says it all - stay away from my watermelon!

A boy on the move

At 8.5 months, Brenner always seems to be on the move. He has been pullingup for over a month and will stand for a second or two on his own - walking is just around the corner. Because of this, our downstairs has been converted to a playroom. Brenner has free reign but his favorite toy is always Emi. She is a good dog and puts up with it. Other big news - his first tooth came in last week!
